Technical Information, Safety Regulations and CE-Labels
General Information
- Malfunctions
ROTORCOMP components are carefully tested on the factory premises and are absolutely safe when installed in accordance with the instructions for installation. Should any malfunction occur, however, please contact our sales engineers.
- Safety instructions
This component does not constitute a finished product in the legal sense of the term. Only after installation and in connection with other components - e.g. a screw compressor system - does it form a final product. Proper installation is thus the responsibility of the system manufacturer. Screw compressor systems must be manufactured and operated in accordance with the currently valid safety and accident prevention regulations.
- Storage
An adequate corrosion protection procedure must be carried out for storage over long periods of time. All of the components must be protected from damage-causing jolting and from impact in general. Any damage caused during transport must be reported immediately to the forwarding agent.
Store in a dry room free of acid vapours, alkalis or other chemical substances and at a distance of 1,5 m (2 yds) from heat sources (e.g. radiators) and at least 0,20 m (8 in.) above storage room floor. Do not store at temperatures below +20°C (68°F) or where the relative air humidity exceeds 50%.
