Conservation

A protective anti-corrosion treatment is necessary whenever the compressor is out of service for longer than six months.

Conservation treatment protects certain parts that cannot be manufactured from rust-proof materials (such as plate valves).

The required measures for corrosion protection and redeployment are listed in the BAUER's "Technical Information Bulletin T 5/74 HD".
