Filling Station
A filling station consists of the compressor unit, storage cylinders and a filling panel.
BAUER filling stations are primarily installed in professional dive shops, dive centres and other locations that require a fast and reliable source of air.
The storage cylinders can be flanged to one another.
- Cylinder volume = 50 litres
- Cylinder volume of typical storage system = 4 × 50 litres = 200 litres
- Breathing air capacity (at 200 bar) = 40 000 litres (at 1 bar absolute)
- Breathing air capacity (at 300 bar) = 55 000 litres (at 1 bar absolute)
In Germany, cylinders for stationary units have to be manufactured in accordance to the accident prevention (UVV) and pressure devices guidelines (AD-Merkblätter).
At first, the diving cylinder is filled from the » storage cylinders. It is then topped up by the compressor.
